CBC News Toronto Saturday, March 31, 2012 A jury has convicted Toronto rapper Lamar Skeete of first-degree murder for the shooting death of gentle giant Kenneth Mark. (Related source from Toronto Star: bit.ly Kenneth Mark was known as a good man to stop crime in his community and stepped forward as a witness to bring criminals to justice. He was shot and killed for his courage of being brave and doing what was right. Today I was interviewed by CBC news reporter Charlsie Argo, as she was encouraged to find out more about the work I do as a crime youth advocate, following the significant verdict that was handed down yesterday. I send my condolences to the friends and families out there for Mark. He will always be remembered as a hero in our eyes and hearts.
